Remvio

Your data

Delete your Remvio account and data

Remvio, by Ember Development Studios, LLC, does not need an account. If you signed in with Apple or Google to back up your data, you can delete that account and its backups at any time. Your medication data on your phone is yours to delete too.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Remvio and tap your profile picture or initials in the top right.
  2. Scroll to your backup account and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm with Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm, and Remvio stops using Sign in with Apple for your Apple Account.

Your account and both backups are deleted right away. You will see “Account deleted” when it is done.

Delete your account without the app

If you no longer have Remvio installed, email support@emberdevstudios.com with the subject “Delete my Remvio account”. Send it from the email address on your Apple or Google account, and tell us whether you signed in with Apple or Google. If you used Sign in with Apple with “Hide My Email”, say so and we will help you confirm the account. We may ask a question to confirm the account is yours, then delete it and reply to confirm, within 30 days.

If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove Remvio’s access yourself: on your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple, choose Remvio and tap Stop Using.

Delete the data on your phone

Your medications, schedules and history are stored only on your phone. Deleting your account does not touch them. To delete them, uninstall Remvio: on iPhone, touch and hold the app icon and tap Remove App, then Delete App; on Android, touch and hold the icon and tap Uninstall. If your phone backs up apps to iCloud or Google, a copy may stay in that backup until you remove it there.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted right away when you delete your account

  • Your account: account ID, sign-in provider, and the email address and name from Apple or Google.
  • Your latest backup and the previous backup we keep for safety (medications, schedules, dose history, settings).
  • Remvio’s Sign in with Apple access, if you used Apple.

Kept

  • The data on your phone, until you uninstall Remvio (see above).
  • Your Remvio Plus purchase. It belongs to your Apple ID or Google account, so you can restore it later. Apple, Google and our purchase provider RevenueCat keep purchase records under their own policies. RevenueCat’s record holds a random ID, not your medications. Email us if you want us to ask RevenueCat to delete it.
  • Routine security logs kept by our hosting providers for a limited period. They record that requests were made, not your backup.
